TEDxUniversityofPretoria is a university event founded in 2018 by students for students. We seek to provide a platform for creative & innovative minds of our time to share their ideas worth spreading. With support from one of Africa’s leading Universities, The University of Pretoria, we have successfully hosted inspiring events that spark creativity in students, & create a meaningful impact in our communities, locally & nationwide. We hope to increase student involvement in spaces beyond their academics by sharing our platform for the melting pot of ideas within our community, not only for personal growth but to highlight & advance our authentically African culture with/to our global community
To provide a space and platform for all individuals, UP-affiliated or otherwise, to express and share ideas that will create a meaningful impact in communities, locally and nationwide. We also aim to create opportunities for personal development and growth that assist members in becoming holistic, well-rounded individuals.
